By installing or using Cited ("the App") you agree to these terms. The App is provided by The Canary Web.

The service

The App measures how your products appear in AI shopping results (Shopify's agentic catalog), tracks that visibility over time against competitors, and recommends and applies catalog optimizations to improve it. Features, tracked-query limits and refresh frequency depend on your plan (Starter / Growth / Pro / Plus).

No ranking guarantee

AI shopping results are produced by third-party systems and change over time. We measure the best available source and recommend improvements, but we cannot guarantee a specific position, traffic, or sales outcome.

Billing

Plans are billed through Shopify's Billing API (monthly or annual) and appear on your Shopify invoice. Each plan includes a 14-day free trial. You can change or cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges. Fees already billed are non-refundable except where required by law.

Catalog changes

When you apply an optimization, the App updates the relevant product fields via the Shopify Admin API. Every suggested change is shown to you with a before/after diff before it goes live; you choose what to apply — individually, or in bulk with “Apply all” — and any change can be reverted in one click. You are responsible for the content you choose to apply. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the App in the preceding three months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Termination

You may uninstall at any time; your data is handled per our Privacy policy. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.
